IOT based Vehicle fuel theft detection system

Fuel prices are soaring day by day. Due to this, there is a lot of increase in fuel theft cases. In order to aid people in their vehicle’s fuel theft detection, we have developed this project called IOT based Vehicle fuel theft detection. In this project, level sensor is used to monitor the fuel level of the vehile. If the fuel level is decreased compared to threshold level, it will automatically turn ON the buzzer and the sensor values will be updated in the cloud.In order to prevent the buzzer to be turned ON while driving, we have used the ignition lock as the trigger to this project. When the keys are inserted in the ignition lock, the project would be de-activated and would be activated as soon as the keys are removed.
