Medical Image Fusion using FPGA

This Project implements FPGA Based Image fusion technique to analyze Medical images to diagnose various diseases. For medical diagnosis, Computed Tomography (CT) provides the best information on denser tissue with less distortion. Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) provides better information on soft tissue with more distortion. With different types equipment output medical images in clinical applications, the idea of combining images from different equipment become very important .The experiments show that the method could extract useful information from combined images so that clear images are obtained. MATLAB is used to convert images into pixel-format files and to observe simulation results. To implement this paper XPS & VB are needed. In Xilinx Platform Studio, first select hardware & software components then by adding source and header files & converting into bit streams and download into Spartan3 FPGA Image Processing Kit, to obtain fused image.

Sobel Edge Detection using FPGA

In this project proposed a kind of parallel processing construction of Sobel edge detection enhancement algorithm, which can quickly get the result of one pixel in only one clock periods. The algorithm is designed with a FPGA chip called XC3S200- 4tq144, and it can process 128×128×8 Gray Scale Image successfully. Sobel operator is chosen due to its property of less deterioration in high levels of noise. The design can locate the edge of the gray image quickly and efficiently. Experiment is carried out in MATLAB and on FPGA board.

Defect Detection of PCB Using FPGA

It is inevitable that there will appear defections such as the appearance not neat, solder mask unevenness, lines and pads damages in the production of printed circuit board. In this Project Spartan3 FPGA Image Processing Kit based image acquisition system of the circuit board is designed. Digital image processing technology has been carried on the analysis of the collected image. In image preprocessing, these processing methods as image enhancement, edge detection, the two value processing method have been used to improve the image quality. In the extraction and recognition of the defection, subtraction method is used to perform the detection of the defect board through the comparison and matching of the defect image and the template image.

Lifting based Discrete Wavelet Transform using FPGA

In this project, we implement algorithms for efficient implementation of lifting based Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) using ï»¿FPGA  Kit. The basic principle behind the lifting based scheme is to decompose the finite impulse response (FIR) filters in wavelet transform into a finite sequence of simple filtering steps. Lifting based DWT implementations have many advantages, and have recently been proposed for the JPEG2000 standard for image compression. Consequently, this has become an area of active research and several architectures have been proposed in recent years. In this paper, we provide a survey of these architectures for both 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional DWT. The architectures are representative of many design styles and range from highly parallel architectures to DSP-based architectures to folded architectures. We provide a systematic derivation of these architectures along with an analysis of their hardware and timing complexities.

Median Filter Using FPGA

The Median filter is an effective method for the removal of impulse-based noise from the images. This paper suggests an optimized architecture for filter implementation on Spartan3 FPGA Image Processing Kit. A 3×3 sliding window algorithm is used as the base for filter operation. Partial implementation is done via soft core processor

IoT based Home automation using FPGA

Technology advancements have made possible the implementation of embedded systems within home appliances. This has added new capabilities and features, however, most of the time, the implementations are proprietary and networking is not always possible. Yet there is an increasing demand for smart homes, where appliances react automatically to changing environmental conditions and can be easily controlled through one common device. This paper presents a possible solution whereby the user controls devices by employing a central Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) controller to which the devices and sensors are interfaced. Control is communicated to the FPGA from a mobile phone through its IOT (internet of things) interface. By using IOT we can control the home appliances where ever in the world .This results in a simple, cost effective, and flexible system, making it a good candidate for future smart home solutions.

IoT based Gas Leakage Monitoring & Controlling for Industrial Application using FPGA

IOT based Gas Leakage Monitoring & Controlling For Industrial Application project to monitoring the automatic gas leakage in industrial or homes we can monitor in IOT(internet of things). This system involves gas sensor with the core controller of FPGA.Now a days building a cloud based monitoring system is very important to reduce the cost of maintaining servers, to avoid data losses and to make the access easy with multiple internet connected devices,at the same time anywhere in the world to monitor  the monitored this project  any gas leakage occurs in monitored areas that will be updated in IOT

IoT based Health monitoring using FPGA

In this fast pace world, managing work and health simultaneously have become a matter of concern for most of the people. Long waiting hours at the hospitals or ambulatory patient monitoring are well known issues. The issues demands for a health monitoring system which can monitor the daily routine health parameters and heart rate we can monitor the  IOT(internet of things) patient monitoring has 3 sensors. First one is a temperature sensor, second is Heartbeat sensor and the third one is humidity sensor. This project is very useful since the doctor can monitor patient health parameters just by visiting website or URL. And nowadays many IOT apps are also being developed. So now the doctor or family members can monitor or track the patient health through the Android apps.

IoT based Humidity measurement using FPGA

Building a cloud based monitoring system is very important to reduce the cost of maintaining servers, to avoid data losses and to make the access easy with multiple internet connected devices ( computer, tablet, mobile phone)  at the same time anywhere in the world. There are various industrial and hill stations areas it requires you to monitor Humidity and update the status to the cloud. IOT based Humidity monitoring system to monitore the Humidity we are using dth11 sensor for measuring the Humidity. This IOT system can be constructed using FPGA, Wi-Fi Module and IOT Cloud server.

IoT based Irrigation system using FPGA

This project gives over view about IOT technologies and applications related to agriculture irrigation management system. Our main objective of this work is to for Farming where various new technologies to yield higher growth of the crops and their water supply. By using     IOT( Internet of Things) using to  control features with latest electronic technology using microcontroller which turns the pumping motor ON and OFF on detecting the water content of the earth using soil moisture sensor

IoT based Smart Water Management using FPGA

Now a days we are facing lot of water problems so we have to save the water so we are develop the project smart water management system to control the wastage of water. This projectbuild an IoT based Smart Water Monitoring System that can detect the flow of water and record the volume of water that flows through the pipe for a given period of time. The data is then sent to the cloud for storage and analysis. By placing this system in a smart building, we will be able to collect and analyze the water usage patterns of the residents and save a lot of water from wastage..

IoT Based Street Light Monitoring using FPGA

The aim of automated streetlight management system using IOT is the conservation of energy by reducing electricity wastage as well as to reduce the manpower. Streetlights are the elemental part of any city since it facilitates better night visions, secure roads, and exposure to public areas but it consumes a quite large proportion of electricity. In the manual streetlight system lights its powered from sunset to sunrise with maximum intensity even when there is sufficient light available. This energy wastage can be avoided by switching off lights automatically. The saved energy can be efficiently utilized for other purposes like residential, commercial, transportation etc. This can be achieved using an IOT enabled streetlight management system. This system includes an additional DHT11 Temperature-Humidity sensor. This provides the exact temperature and humidity of a particular region. This system implemented using a FPGA board for providing the required intensity of light at various times
