ABSTRACT

Pharmacy is the medical field applications where all the medicine data got stored, in the knowledge of the doctor’s medicines are provided. Other than this, medical representatives should have separate knowledge about each medicine. If they fail to give the right medicine, it will be a harmful situation to the patients. TO avoid such kind of situations, we introducing the new type of Raspberry Pi system to maintain the medical records using the camera to identify the medicine and also will have the stock availability details.

In the above block diagram LCD is connected to the Raspberry Pi using the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi, then for processing the image of the medicine, the camera is connected to the Raspberry Pi. Then to say about stock and details, the speaker is connected to the Raspberry Pi.

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In this Raspberry Pi system, every detail about the medicines is already registered in the database. Then by using the camera, we are reading the information about the medicine. Then it will check for the stock availability and echo as the voice output about the stock. Everything is displayed in the LCD. It also checks the expiry date automatically to show the details about the medicine. SO that complete Pharmacy is maintained by the Raspberry Pi system.

CONCLUSION

Raspberry Pi can be used as any applications, now his is used as smart Pharmacy maintaining system, which handles the medicine details, the Expiry date of the medicines and also checks about the stock availability.
