ABSTRACT

The interactive mirror is nothing but, the mirror which we saw daily to view our face. This Raspberry Pi system will make the innovation by giving more features by interfacing the Google assistance with the system so that we can ask whatever we need in front of the mirror, which gets also displayed the welcome note. This is one of the Raspberry Pi fun projects, which will be interactive to get those message at the time stands in front of the mirror.

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

In the above block diagram, Mirror is placed as the display unit, then the camera is connected to the Raspberry Pi system to recognize the face. Then Microphone is connected to the Raspberry Pi to listen to the Google assistant commands.

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

At Every morning we will go in front of the mirror, To make it as interactive it will capture the image to recognize the face, after recognizing it will spell the name of the person with a welcome message and will report the current weather automatically. After that, it will reply based on the questions which are asked to the Google assistant.

  • HDMI to VGA converter (optional, when connecting to Monitor)

  • USB to audio converter

 

SOFTWARE REQUIRED

  • Raspbian Jessie
  • SD Card Formatter
  • Win32 Disk Imager (or) Etcher

 

LIBRARIES USED

  • Rpi.GPIO as GPIO (To access GPIO Pins of Raspberry Pi)
  • Time library (For Delay functions)
  • CV2

 

CONCLUSION

The system becomes interactive while placing the mirror with a good display, by interfacing the Google assistant, the system becomes voice assistant.
