ROS-Controlled Balancing Robot Based on Arduino and Raspberry Pi
Description
Abstract:
Further development in the field of robotics requires from education system to organize effective preparation of highly skilled specialists. This problem concerns not only higher education, but also the system of secondary education. To ensure continuity between secondary and higher education in robotics, new methodological solutions are required. Along with using existing popular educational robotic kits and ready-made robots, an effective learning approach could be achieved through creating self-made robots. The paper presents an educational project of making a robot. That project was designed for learning activities in robotics. The goal of the project is the creation of ROScontrolled balancing robot with machine vision.
