Cervical Cancer Classification using Matlab

                        Cancer or carcinoma is the uncontrolled growth of cells. There are many types of cancers. Here we are focusing on one of the common cancer of females i.e. cancer of the cervix. Ca Cervix is the second most common type of cancer found in females, breast cancer being the first. There are many numbers of screening tests for Ca cervix and one of these is PAP’s smear in which cytology has done. Cervical cancer classification decision making was performed in two stages: feature extraction using GLCM and the classification using SVM. The performance of this classifier was evaluated in terms of training performance and classification accuracies.
