ABSTRACT

Innovation plays role in every technology, now its time to innovate the Umbrella, which doesn’t have any innovation. To innovate umbrella we are feeding some facilities like notifying about the rain possibilities. so that chance of getting wet by rain gets reduced. As the Raspberry Pi beginners, you can able to learn to work with the cloud. Here we are using weather cloud to monitor the current and upcoming weather conditions, the whole system is interfaced with an umbrella or its holder, whenever we are leaving the home, it will notify whenever there is the possibility of rain.

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

In the above Block diagram Speaker is connected to Raspberry Pi using the Audio Jack, then Raspberry Pi is connected to the network to access the cloud.

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Instead of interfacing several sensors with Raspberry Pi to predicting the weather, we can use weather cloud to get the maximum possibility of weather prediction, by connecting the Raspberry Pi to the network to access the cloud by getting authentication resulting to get a personal API key to access the cloud for retrieving the data from the cloud. PC/Laptop speaker can be used to connect with Raspberry Pi via 3.5mm Audio jack.
