Description

ABSTRACT

Eyechart is used by the Hospitals especially eye specialty hospitals, to check the vision of the patient, which contains both alphabets and numbers in decreasing order of sizes to check the vision of the patient. In Hospitals, they used to change the display manually by changing the board or by using the high expensive system to change the display. Here we are proposing a newq method to the change the eyechart character by using Remote control by having the core system as Raspberry Pi.

Then Monitor is connected to the Raspberry Pi using HDMI to VGA convertor, where the Eyechart is displays as each character at once.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

IR Remote, which is held by the Doctor, to change the eyechart as character by character remotely. These commands are received by the IR receiver, which is connected serially on to the Raspberry Pi.
