Description

ABSTRACT

Raspberry Pi can be used as mobile phones even since it is small pc. Which gets the display by connecting the TFT display to the Raspberry Pi. Which is programmed using python programming. ASll other functionalities like call and speak functions are already programmed in the certain directory based on pressing the buttons displayed in the TFT display, respective functions can be performed.

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

In the above block diagram, TFT display is connected to the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi. To give voice input microphone is connected by using USB to Audio jack converter which split into both mikes as well as the speaker. Speaker is connected into the Speaker jack.

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This is the Raspberry Pi mobile, which had every feature like mail, voice input, and output. So that by configuring each button displayed through TFT is preconfigured for every functionality. Every code lies in the same directory of the TFT code so that for each button the program gets called to get the output. Which the mobile is also having Google assistance features.

SOFTWARE REQUIRED

  • SD Card Formatter
  • Win32 Disk Imager (or) Etcher

 

LIBRARIES USED

  • Rpi.GPIO as GPIO (To access GPIO Pins of Raspberry Pi)
  • Time library (For Delay functions)

CONCLUSION

This Raspberry Pi phone will be standalone, which doesn’t require any android/IOS runs the code through python programming, which uses the same OS of the Raspberry Pi. Features like Mail everything is merged with the System.
