Introduction to Half Bridge Inverter

Inverter is used to convert DC to AC. The half bridge inverter includes only two switching devices but the inverter needs of four switching devices. In half bridge inverter two switching devices are used and another two devices are replaced by a capacitor. The pulse generation technique used here is SPWM technique. The reference of sine is compared with carrier triangular wave and the output generated.
