Introduction to Three Phase Seven Level Inverter

A Three Phase seven Level Inverter is a circuit which converts DC to three phase AC. Each phase is of 120degree phase shifted. To produce a three phase seven level inverter here we used three single phase cascaded inverter with 120degree phase shift.

The pulse generation method is of SPWM technique. The reference sine wave is compared with the carrier triangular wave and the pulse is generated. For each phase three single phase inverter is used as cascaded method and forms the output. The Seven level is formed as voltages in V, V/2, V/3, 0, -V/3, -V/2, -V
