Multiple face detection using OpenCV with Raspberry Pi
Description
ABSTRACT
This Raspberry Pi project allows you to detect multiple faces which the technology mainly used in applications like mobile, to set the focus for the face. By using Open CV technology in the cloud to process the feature of the image which has multiple faces. This can be done by detecting the face first and to place landmarks on every face to confirm the face which is present in the image or video.
BLOCK DIAGRAM
BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION
In the above block diagram, the USB camera is connected with the Raspberry Pi. For better accuracy, it is better to use Pi camera or USB camera than using IP camera.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
OpenCV technology which is image related applications used to process the image/video using Python programming. In this Raspberry Pi project, we are using Open CV technology to detect the Multiple faces from the group to show the number of persons present in the group. Which is one of the beginner project of Raspberry Pi with Open CV
HARDWARE REQUIRED
- Raspberry Pi
- Power Adapter
- HDMI to VGA converter (optional, when connecting to Monitor)
- Camera
SOFTWARE REQUIRED
- SD Card Formatter
- Win32 Disk Imager (or) Etcher
LIBRARIES USED
- Time library (For Delay functions)
CONCLUSION
To make OpenCV result as efficient, then we should use the camera with high resolution to detect the face.
