ABSTRACT

This Land mines buried under the ground causes threat to the lives and affect the economy of the nation. Detection and removing of these mines manually is a dangerous task, which may sometimes causes accidents. In such situations robots aid in detection of the land mines. Not only land mines, these robots can be used to detect any other metals presented in the ground. This article explains the metal detection robot using the Wide Area Network (WAN) i.e. IOT technology. The proposed system consists of Raspberry pi to which robot is connected transmitter is the remote webpage through which we can control our metal detector robot and receiver is the raspberry pi which receive the signal from the cloud and act accordingly. The transmitter circuit transmits the commands required to operate the robot. The receiver circuit receives these commands and moves the robot according to the received commands. A metal detector is interfaced to the raspberry pi in the receiver side. Thus whenever any metal is detected the robot stops there and buzzer starts ringing, which indicates that a metal id being detected in the land.

INTRODUCTION

The idea behind this is to control the robot using IOT technology in order to maintain the human loss in situations like LAND MINE detection. This metal detector robot make the detection more easy with a remote control. The alarm will be used whenever the metal is detected.

EXISTING SYSTEM

In the existing system, manual detection of the metal which take more man power and also has a high risk in the land mine detection situations.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

In this proposed system, Raspberry pi is embedded with the robot and metal detector which can be controlled remotely whenever a metal is detected robot will automatically stop and will give a buzzer sound as the output.

  • In this project Robot is connected with the raspberry pi.

CONCLUSION

According to this system, it detects the metal inside the ground using a remote control robot module which is controlled from the cloud and whenever it finds a metal inside the ground it will stop and give the buzzer as output alarm. This system make less human power, more efficiency and remote control access to control the robot
