This power theft identification system helps us to save power from more usage of power. In this, the power is monitored continuously using raspberry pi3 b+. If there are any increases in load the power supply to the load will off. And again, the raspberry pi will continuously check the load power.
It has Raspberry Pi as a core. The current transformer and voltage transformer are used to calculate the three-parameter such as voltage, current, power. To convert the parameter the ADC (MCP 3008) IC is used. and it interfaces with raspberry pi. The raspberry pi is continuously checked the load connects to it if there are any increases load the power supply to the load it shut off, it will send a mail to the electric board, it will display in webpage also and again the raspberry pi will continue to check the load.
In the existing system, the power is checked manually and the reading also checked manually.
In this proposed system, the parameter such as power, current, voltage is checked based on that the energy is calculated and the payment is generated to respective mail. If there are increases in load the power supply to the load is cut off and mail regarding power usage is sent to the electric board and display on the webpage.
In this, the raspberry pi is interfaced with the ADC (MCP3008) IC to get the value. The current and voltage transformer is connected with some converter from that to ADC IC. The bulb holder is connected to the transformer and the converter.
In this project, the raspberry pi will continuously monitor the load based on the- parameter such as voltage, current, power. If there are any increases load the power supply to the load will cutoff and the mail will send to electric board and to the user as well as they can see the power, voltage, current and power theft message in webpage also, it will generate the bill based upon the usage of power supply. The raspberry pi again continues on monitoring the load power.
