Description

Abstract

We all know that Internet of Things(IoT) is fast growing and most trending technology now a days. We can use these technology efficiently. Nowadays , the public places such as bank , mall , movie theatres etc needs more security and these places has not much capacity to sit,  so we have to monitor the entry and exit of every person in that place .We are using InfraRed (IR) sensor to detect the person. If a person crosses the IR sensor , it will detect and increase the count of entry or exit. The sensor values will uploaded to the cloud . The end user can get these data’s at any time anywhere in the world.

Proposed system

In this project , we are using NodeMCU ESP8266 as main controller. We are using two IR sensors for entry and exit . If a person crosses a first IR sensor , it will detect the person and increment the count of entry. If a person crosses the second sensor, it will detect and decrease the count. These values will displayed in the LCD display.By monitoring the IR sensor values we can find the number of persons inside the particular room or hall etc. The sensor values will updated in the cloud. We can get these data’s anytime.
