Synopsis :

Search engines are very useful to get the information about things. But, in this faster world, typing a text to search query is consuming more time. Also, small type mistakes will show error information. Fast, accurate visual search is the future, and we’ve got to admit the future looks bright. In this project work, we propose an effective alternate solution, Hand in News Feeding. Hand in News Feeding provides fast, accurate results with no typing necessary. All we need is to snap a picture. This technology completely eliminates the hassle of typing in a search query. This project work uses Raspberry Pi processor as an implementation platform.

 

               The Raspberry Pi is a credit card sized single computer or SOC uses ARM1176JZF-S core. SOC, or System on a Chip, is a method of placing all necessary electronics for running a computer on a single chip. Raspberry Pi needs an Operating system to start up. In the aim of cost reduction, the Raspberry Pi omits any on-board non-volatile memory used to store the boot loaders, Linux Kernels and file systems as seen in more traditional embedded systems. Rather, a SD/MMC card slot is provided for this purpose. After boot load, as per the application program Raspberry Pi will get execute.

Block Diagram Explanation :

 

                  The system consists of raspberry pi, camera, and monitor and LAN connections. The camera is used to capture the images and gives to the input to raspberry pi. By using image processing technique taken image are compared to the database images. If that image is matched then particular video will be play on monitor through Raspberry pi device. Here raspberry pi should have an LAN connection for searching that particular video.
