ABSTRACT

This project is proposed to control the multilevel inverter using digital signal processor (DSP). The controller used is TMS320F2812 DSP controller. This DSP processor is used to generate the pulse width modulation (PWM) signals. The PWM signals are applied to driver circuits and this driver circuit is usedto isolateandamplify the pulses. This project is used to reduce the switching losses and harmonics. The output waveform is displayed.

BLOCK DIAGRAM EXPLANATION

The block diagram of DSP based multilevel inverter is shown in the above. The DSP controller is used to produce the PWM signals. And the PWM signal is applied to the driver circuit. This driver circuits are used to isolate and amplify the PWM signals. The driver transformers are connected to the driver circuit.

In this circuit have two inverters. And also inverter wants power supply, so power transformer is connected to the inverter board. The transformer ac supply is converted to dc supply by using bridge rectifier with filter. The inverters are used to convert the dc supply into ac supply. That ac supply is applied to the load.
