Aim

To study the DC Servomotor Position Controller with P Controller using the DC Position Control

Apparatus Required

☞Patch Chords

☞Motor setup

☞CRO

Theory

This experiment is intended to study the operation of DC Servomotor Position Controller with P Controller..Note down and tabulate input and output position and the maximum overshoot.

Experiment Procedure

☞Verify the connection as per the connection diagram and connection procedure.

☞Switch ON the power supply.

☞Select the P control mode

☞Vary the Increment and decrement switch and set the motor position at any value.

☞Select the SPDT switch in upward direction and note the input position in LCD display.

☞Switch ON the pulse release switches S. Note the maximum overshoot or maximum position achieved by the motor.

☞Select the SPDT switch in downward direction and note the output position in LCD display.

☞Check all the power circuit test point waveforms.

☞View the comparator output wave form

☞View the MOSFET 1 and 2 trigger pulses across the terminals respect GND.

☞View the MOSFET 3 and 4 trigger pulses across the terminals and GND.

☞Tabulate the input and output position and maximum overshoot in the tabular column shown below.
