Description

Automated Oxygen Monitoring System for Hospitals

Abstarct

There are many childrens died due to lack of oxygen supplies in the hospitals. This is because of lack of monitoring the oxygen cylinders. This will be not happen again in future. For this problem , we have developed a Automated oxyegen monitoring system. BMP180 pressure sensor is used to monitor the pressure of the oxygen cylinders . The pressure sensor value sent to the cloud. If the sensor value goes to below the threshold value it will turn ON the alarm and sends the Email to the respective persons. If the pressure sensor value above the threshold value , the actuator will move or control the supply of the oxygen. This project involves the two way communication, i.e the data’s can be sent to the respective persons in the hospitals and the respective persons can control the actuators from web page.

Proposed system
In this project , BMP180 Pressure sensor is connected with NodeMcu ESP8266. The controller moitors the pressure of the oxygen which is present in the cylinder. If the pressure value decreases to the threshold value it will send the email to the respective persons in the hospitals and tuen ON the alarm. If the pressure value exceeds the threshold value, it will be adjusted by the respective persons with the of the web page . It will automate the process of adjusting the actuators and saves the many of the human lives.
