ABSTRACT

Raspberry Pi is a mini credit card-sized computer, which is applicable for any sort of applications. In this Raspberry Pi project, the Raspberry Pi system is converted into an audio system, which is used as multimedia applications by writing the multimedia OS Kodi on Raspberry Pi. Which is having multimedia applications like music and video options. By connecting speaker with the Raspberry Pi, the whole system becomes complete sound players, which the audio feed can be given by remote connection using local IP.

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

In the above block, diagram speaker is connected with the Raspberry Pi, for better sound experience, Home theatre can also be connected to the Raspberry Pi. The only thing that Raspberry Pi will run on Kodi Operating system to use multimedia applications.

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Raspberry Pi system which is written by Kodi OS, the OS suitable for multimedia entertainment. The Audio tracks can be fed by using a Remote server, which gets streamed to Raspberry Pi to play the video or audio with a better experience on multimedia.

 

HARDWARE REQUIRED

  • Raspberry Pi
  • Power Adapter
  • HDMI to VGA converter (optional, when connecting to Monitor)
  • Speaker

SOFTWARE REQUIRED

  • Kodi OS
  • SD Card Formatter
  • Win32 Disk Imager (or) Etcher

 

CONCLUSION

By using Local IP we can add up the multimedia sources remotely to stream the multimedia to Raspberry Pi, which can be experienced by connecting the Raspberry Pi with the Monitor using HDMI to VGA converter or by connecting with the Television using HDMI to HDMI converter
