Tips on operation of micro computers - For the staff of polytechnic colleges

February 7th, 2009 (Tuticorin, TN) –The Department of Technical Education in association with Government Polytechnic College, Tuticorin, organised a two-day hands on faculty development programme on Friday on operation and maintenance of micro computers and micro controllers for the staff handling subjects of electronics engineering.

M.R. Senthil Kumar (Pantech Solutions Pvt Ltd), the resource person of the session, disseminated information to participants with a key objective of handling micro controllers as per the revised “K Scheme” syllabus with application of embedded system using Advanced Risk Machine (ARM) with introduction of 32 bit laboratory control electronic equipment processor.

 
 

He said the latest trend of dealing with ARM mechanism would pave way for stakeholders to suit the innovative industrial standards.
Chinnathurai, Principal in-charge, Government Polytechnic College, Tuticorin, welcomed the gathering.
K. Veerarajan, Continuing Education Manager, coordinated the programme.
Forty staff members from various polytechnic colleges in the southern region participated in the programme, the Principal said.

Pantech Solutions Relocates and Expands Chennai Office

Expansion Promises R&D Development, New Services and Quicker Turnaround for Clients
November 9th, 2008 (Chennai, TN) – Pantech Solutions, an excellent and thriving Chennai-based solution providing firm, has recently expanded and relocated its regional office, Pantech solutions Private Ltd, Chennai. Over the last month, Pantech Solutions Private Ltd has acquired and moved into new office space in T-nagar-Chennai.

"The relocation, expansion and Inauguration of our development center marks our presence in one of the most important technology hubs in the world,” The new R&D facility was inaugurated by lighting of the Kuthuvillaku by Mr. Selvakumaran, Analog design application engineer from TI, India, Mr. Ashokan, Joint Director, FIEO, and Mr. Rajamurugan, Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer, Southern Railway the chief guests for the function along with Mr. N.Srinivasan, CEO and Mr. N.Ravikannan, BDM.

 
 
 
       College Workshops
     
  VIT, Vellore

The ARM Team from Pantech performed a complete One Day hands-on training and workshop with the title “Embedded System Design using ARM Processor”. A crew of three affiliates conducted the colloquium and the training sessions for the VIT’s ‘School of Electrical Sciences’. Interactive sessions were also held and the competitors were accolade with Pantech’s ARM Evaluation Starter Kit.


  Karpaga Vinayagar

A consolidated band of Pantech’s technical division presented a comprehensive tutorial on “Embedded System Designs”. The course group included designs on VLSI, Microcontrollers and the market analysis and applications of Embedded Systems on diverse fields. The appearance was aimed on the maturing electronic professionals to construct a strong base towards Embedded Systems.

The team of VLSI Professionals from Pantech Solutions descended down of South Tamilnadu to make an impact on “The Design and Development of VLSI”. The tutorial included hands-on workshop and training on VLSI and ASIC Designs. The working out also included programming and evaluating Pantech’s FPGA and CPLD design kits.


  Narayana College of Engineering

Pantech accelerated towards Andhra Pradesh with our ARM Team in an attempt to carry out a technical discussion session which sustained for a couple of days. The session also included hands-on applied working out with the ARM Processor Core. The attendees were also schooled to use the tools and environments essential for Embedded System Design. The tutorial group of pupils was the up-and-coming potential engineers of the institute.


 

Balaji Institute of Technology

Pantech accomplished a methodological Faculty Development Program (FDP) with more than 20 faculties, who gathered-in from various Universities and Colleges. The program principally concentrated on “The 8-bit Architecture Microcontrollers” and the development tools and environment tools used therein. Pantech included themselves into this sitting with their own prototypic Evaluation Boards and Programming Hardware for the design and development.


    Mepco Schlenk Engineering College

A technical convention on “The 32 Bit Architecture Microcontrollers” was carried out in Mepco Schlenk College by Pantech’s Embedded Team. The seminar was followed up with a discussion talk on ARM Processor core and applications. Hands-on training sessions were also held with a narrative explanation about Keil Development Environment and tools


    Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College

A technical crew of four associates of the Embedded Team encouraged the Embedded System Design of 8051 Microcontrollers. The session was stalled in RGM College with our own products of the 8051 family. Practical and hands-on training sessions were conducted for the faculties and the scholars of the college. This training session was concluded with a detailed seminar and clarification sitting. Three different Pantech’s 8051 products were incorporated in the clarification and discussion sessions.
